Built on 20 years on the tools
WS Contractors Ltd is run by William Hayes, a qualified electrician who has spent over 20 years building, extending and refurbishing homes.
WS Contractors started the way most good building firms do: one tradesman with a reputation for doing the job properly, and customers who kept recommending him.
Today we take on everything from new roofs and en suites to steel-framed extensions, loft conversions and full house refurbishments across Watford and Hertfordshire, with 250+ projects behind us.
What hasn't changed is how we work. William is on site, the same team sees your job through from start to finish, and the electrics are done by a qualified electrician, not squeezed in by whoever's free.
How we work
One team
Our own people do the building, roofing, joinery and finishing, and William does the electrics. Nothing waits on another trade.

If something needs planning, a structural engineer or a party wall notice, you'll hear it at the survey, not halfway through the job.
Tidy sites
Sealed off from the rest of the house, swept every evening, and respectful of you and your neighbours.
