Roofing: common questions
How do I know if I need a new roof or a repair?
Slipped or cracked tiles, a damp patch after rain or a sagging ridge can often be repaired. Widespread slipped tiles, perished felt or a roof well over 50 years old usually means a re-roof is better value. We'll show you photos of what we find.
How long does a re-roof take?
A typical semi-detached re-roof takes around 1 to 2 weeks once the scaffold is up, weather permitting. The roof is kept watertight every night.
Do you arrange the scaffolding?
Yes, we arrange the scaffold and any licence needed if it goes on the pavement.
