Electrical work in Watford and Hertfordshire
Rewires, new consumer units, lighting and sockets, carried out by William Hayes, a qualified electrician with over 20 years in the trade.
Electrics are part of almost every project we do, which is why we keep them in-house. On an extension or refurbishment it means the wiring is planned around the layout from day one, not squeezed in afterwards.
We also take on electrical work on its own: full and partial rewires, new consumer units, outside power, garden room supplies, and kitchen and bathroom lighting.
We'll explain exactly what your job involves and what testing and certification it needs before we start.
“WS Contractors Ltd turned our ideas into a beautifully executed project. Professional, reliable, and transparent throughout.”
Electrical work: common questions
How do I know if my house needs a rewire?
Old fuse boxes, rubber or fabric covered cables, too few sockets or frequent tripping are all signs. Most houses need a rewire every 25 to 30 years.
Can you do electrical work on its own?
Yes. We take on rewires, consumer units and new circuits as standalone jobs as well as part of bigger projects.
